Nature Inspired Table

For the Pacific Weddings Summer 2009 issue, we created a bountiful design for a nature inspired table.  Lush arrangements of vivid yellow flowers and vibrant lemons surrounded manzanita trees with sweet little birdies resting in the branches.   I just love the richness added to the table from the antique gold linens and table accessories!  It really brings a warm feel to the table.  Flowers we used include dahlias, celosia, freesia, ranunculus, roses, and tulips.  The lime green celosia and the double yellow freesia were my favorite in this design!  Here are some gorgeous images from the shoot photographers from Visionari...

 

 

  

I just had to include this photo of our dog.  Snoop was very much a part of the photo shoot... more in the way than anything else, but still a member of the team ;)  Here he is worn out from all the action going on.

   
  

   

Purple and Green

Regal purples accented with lively green was a refreshing yet rich color palette for this Lanikuhonua wedding.  A simple wedding but nicely detailed...

PINK!

The Moana Surfrider was the perfect location for this fabulously pink wedding!  The striking hot pink canopy and vivid aisle runner "popped" from the gorgeous white surroundings of the Moana Terrace.   

Tall cylinders filled with tinted pink water and dark pink cymbidium orchids lined the aisle.

White orchids and crystals dripped from the fuchsia ceremony canopy.

The reception ballroom was transformed into a golden palace!  Gold linens, chiavari chairs, fabric decor, and lighting were brought in to create a rich atmosphere.  Bold pink flowers and candles popped from each table.

Tall tapered cylinders held floating gold candles while fuchsia votive holders accented the table top.

Each guest table held three arrangements of fuchsia calla lilies, pink peonies, and hot pink roses. 

Sheer gold overlays added an extra shimmer to the gold taffeta linens.

 Fuchsia jewels and swarovski crystals accented each of the tapered cylinders.

The head table

Gold manzanita trees adorned with pink crystals and phalaenopsis orchids were placed at each end of the head table.

Lush peonies and roses set on top of large swarovski crystals surrounded the base of each golden tree.

The bride and groom made a grand entrance through a golden arch covered in pink cymbidium orchids and dripping in crystals.

Nina and David

Nina and David had an opulent, sophisticated wedding full of lush floral arrangements and amazing lighting and decor.  The coordinating team from Weddings by Grace & Mona did a fantastic job pulling everything together.  Located at the Ihilani Resort and Spa, it was certainly an event to remember!  

Cocktails were passed just outside the Ocean Ballroom where lounge sofas and cocktails tables greeted guests.

Spectacular custom six foot crystal chandelier centered in the ballroom

 

 

Towering centerpieces of ivory hydrangea, ivory and lavender roses, green cymbidium orchids,

fragrant tuberose, deep purple calla lilies, purple kale, and purple phalaenopsis orchids.

Deep purple calla lilies were submerged in each glass pedestal vase.

Custom gobo and monogram for the dance floor
