A few months ago, we teamed up with Finishing Touch to create two French countryside inspired table tops at the cozy restaurant Du Vin in Honolulu. Since I absolutely adore France's countryside, I was very excited to be involved in this photo shoot!
flirty feminine bistro style | gold, peach & coral with turquoise accent | garden roses, ranunculus, stock, dusty miller, kangaroo paw
rich, decadent wine cellar | burgundy, purple, magenta with royal blue accent | hydrangea, roses, anemone, kale, amaranthus, stock, raspberry, calla lily, thistle

On the same day as the Du Vin shoot we also had a photo shoot on the North Shore with Anne Namba. We designed bouquets to compliment her stunning new wedding gowns.
Our last project for the day actually came as a surprise early in the morning as we were just arriving Du Vin to begin setting up for the shoot. I received a mysterious phone call inquiring about floral arrangements for Sir Elton John. Apparently he was staying at one of the hotels in Waikiki and was not happy with the arrangements in his suite and wanted new arrangements brought in immediately. How could I say no to Sir Elton John, right?!? I had only three hours to create four fabulous designs and they had to be all white. YIKES! Three hours to find enough white flowers, then design them, then deliver them... and I still had to complete two table tops for the photo shoot and had to get the bouquets out to the North Shore! What a day! Thanks to Alex and Ally, we were able to successfully complete three very important projects all happening at the very same time! Had I had more time I would have taken photos of the Elton John arrangements! Would have been nice to have been able to document it! Oh well, next time... ;)
